Our

Vision & Values

As a centre of hope we aim for each student to be inspired, responsible, academically and practically skilled lifelong learners, living their Christian values and exploring their God-given potential, to achieve personal excellence for God’s glory.

ARISE to a hope and a future to reach, serve, and influence.

Our vision is embodied in the ARISE framework which informs our Learner Profiles.

Our values are what we hold dear and and what we aspire to – they are what define and unite us as we work together to see this vision unfold. As a network of schools, the values guide how we educate and what we aim to cultivate in our students.

Strategic Plan 2024 – 2025

Our strategic plan is our guiding document, and the Board collaboratively develops it in  to ensure the direction of the school is reflective of our collective aspirations for our tamariki.

The 2024 – 2025 strategic plan has three key drivers: Culture, Community and Curriculum. These drivers guide us in how we plan to achieve our three strategic goals:

  • Goal #1: To deliver an empowering educational experience that honours our special character by igniting curiousity, nurturing confidence and instilling a sense of belonging, enabling success for all.
  • Goal #2: To establish impactful partnerships that celebrate and cherish our cultural and spiritual heritage by championing inclusivity, welcoming collaboration and valuing unity, enabling us to reach, serve and influence.
  • Goal #3: To advance progress and achievement that promote students to reach their highest standards of learning by providing clarity and direction, adapting robust teaching and assessment practices and creating optimal learning conditions, enabling collective ownership.

Achieving or exceeding the strategic goals requires focus and attention on specific actions we will take to be successful. You will find more information about our annual goals, key actions and other information in the attached document (ECCH Annual Plan). Partnering together, with these focuses in mind, will enable the school to provide a highly effective learning environment where all students are empowered to learn and achieve, arising to a hope and a future.
